The story begins back in the year 2000...

Mike Stanley, a company owner, wanted to provide Oakham and Stamford clients with a first rate, independent hearing healthy care service balanced with his family life.

After decades of working in the local area Mike had built up a very good reputation and it didn't take long for quite a number of his past clients to search him out. Soon enough things got so busy with recommendations and looking after clients that Healthy Hearing opened its, and Stamford's, first dedicated hearing centre in the April of 2003.

Mike got so busy within a few months of the Stamford Hearing Centre opening that he knew he needed help and this led to the recruitment of Phil Barker who remains a key member of Healthy Hearing today.

There were no plans to increase the size of the company but in 2011 the sudden passing away of one of Mike's old business friends ultimately led to the acquisition of Digitone Hearing in Dorset. So, in 2012 the rebuild of Digitone began. Relocation of one hearing centre and the redevelopment of the other led to Digitone accounting for 50% of Healthy Hearing and some great new dispensers and staff... especially Alyson Owen who's still a tremendous asset to Healthy Hearing.

With the introduction of the latest Lyric hearing solution Mike opened what was now the 5th dedicated hearing centre in Loughborough which has gone from strength to strength. In 2018 our Stamford Hearing Centre relocated to its new location right in the heart of Stamford in Red Lion Square. Loughborough relocated to a lovely new location on Market Street.

One of the ambitions of Healthy Hearing was to open a new hearing centre in Christchurch. Decisions were taken and our New Milton Hearing Centre was planned to close and then reopen in Christchurch but disaster happened… COVID-19. Just as we left New Milton we couldn't have known what was to come. However, after lock-down No1. we managed to push through the acquisition of a new site in Christchurch. The new Christchurch Hearing Centre is now open and very, very busy. Front of house is Jess, and with decades of dispensing experience from Carly Kennedy and Graham Baines.

The purpose built soundproof room ensures the accuracy of our testing. Along with the most modern video otoscopes and wax removal systems ensuring you of the very best our industry has to offer.

Dedicated Centres

It's vital that you're treated in the correct environment, with all of the correct equipment and trained staff.

Senior Audiologists

All of our Audiologists have decades of experience which means they have a tremendous knowledge and understanding of your needs.

Dedicated Centres

Our centres are designed to be a hug for hearing where you don't just have a hearing test and leave with hearing aids, but you can come and ask for help every step of the way.

Customer Service Advisors (CSA's)

In each of our centres we have dedicated CSA's who are highly trained to manage most minor repairs to hearing aids. Even just to change domes, batteries and filters.

Aftercare

Follow up appointments are key to new hearing aids success, which is why we see our clients every 6 months for follow up appointments.

A Message from Mike

It has always been our ambition to provide the very highest service, aftercare and products at fair and reasonable prices. Looking after our clients is the primary function of our company. My Dad always drilled in to me that if I look after my customers they'll look after me. After 20-years I've found him to be absolutely correct.

All of our staff know that looking after our clients is the blood that runs through the veins of Healthy Hearing. A good bedside manner, prompt action and a caring attitude are essential if you want to work for us.
